Snow Geese relish weather that we will go to great lengths to avoid.  The arctic tundra suits them well and they honk with joy at the bountiful food supply as the harsh weather rolls in.  Flight training for the young is past, it is time to get busy loading up fat stores for the trip south.  The fog, the driving wind off the Arctic Ocean, the dropping temperatures all que. up the drive to flock up for the trip.  These snow geese lift off over this tundra pond to move a short distance to the next feeding area, they are not quite ready to go just yet.  Edition of 500.
