The clouds hang low over the ridge providing just enough light to bring out the rainbow of colors that decorate the mountain side.  The natural erosion of the ridge face drips a rich tapestry of earthy colors down the mountain.  Rainbow Ridge is most certainly aptly named.  Lingering late summer lingering snow impresses yet again that the summer is the temporary season here in Alaska.  Edition of 500.
