A male Trumpeter Swan chases off another Trumpeter Swan that has attempted to stop for a while on one of his pool. This particular swan is standing watch over his mate who is on the nest about a half mile away. After seeing these interlopers land the male took off and headed straight for them, landing and then chasing them off with beautiful aerobatics between the two birds. After a victory dance for his mate, things settled back down to the peaceful quiet that is remote Alaska. Edition of 500.
