Middle Park Colorado is open ranch and wildlife refuge country, a large, beautiful basin surrounded by mountains where the grasses grow tall, the prong horn speed through the sage brush and birds raise their young.  But when the sun darkens, the winds kick up, and fierce storm clouds pour over the mountain passes everything stops and takes notice.  The rain falls with a vengeance, lightning rips the air and the thunder claps so hard it shakes the earth; everything hides from the incoming storm.   Edition of 500.
